Communication
We believe that communication with the church is key and we plan to address this by posts through the SCC website and announcements on Sundays in Church.
Pray
We ask and encourage the church to Pray! Please Pray for our Future Lead Pastor and Please Pray for us the Search Team, for Wisdom, Discernment, Energy, and Unity as we work to find the person God is calling.
Patience
We understand that there may be a feeling of urgency to find a Lead Pastor. We do not take this lightly, but we don’t want to rush this process either. A rough timeline could be anywhere from 6-18 months. So we ask you to join us in Romans 8:25, ‘...If we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with Patience.’
Next Steps
Our next steps will be to meet with the SCC Board, work on the SCC Lead Pastor Job Description and work on a more focused timeline.
