CONGREGATIONAL SURVEY & TOWN HALL MEETING DATES

We NEED to hear from you!

Why?

Before looking too quickly to the future, a healthy transition includes taking time to look at the past as well as the present. The evaluation of our multi-site model is part of how we are looking back (past) and looking around (present). Evaluating our model and clarifying our identity as a church is absolutely necessary before looking for a new leader. Therefore…

We NEED to hear from you!

The Multi-Site Congregational Survey is now available: CLICK HERE!

Before beginning the survey, please take a few minutes to read the document entitled “What Is The Multi-Site Model Of Shuswap Community Church?

This important document will provide you with a brief history of how and why Shuswap Community Church became multi-site, some general information about multi-site styles, an overview of our governance model, and a brief snapshot of the current financial perspective as it relates to our multi-site model. It also includes an organizational chart showing our current leadership and staff structure, positions, and people.

Reading this 3-page document and then doing the survey should take about 15 minutes.

The survey will close on May 8.

We have also scheduled congregational Town Hall meetings in each SCC location. The purpose of the Town Hall meetings is to have open dialogue about the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of our multi-site model. Please come prepared to listen and to share your perspective and ideas. These meetings will be held on Sundays, after church and will be open to anyone who calls SCC home, both members and adherents. Specific details about each meeting will be available in each campus. The dates are as follows:

Sicamous: May 28

Salmon Arm: June 4

Chase: June 11

Sorrento: June 25

If you would like to speak with members of the evaluation team directly, to share your thoughts about the multi-site model, this opportunity is also available. Email andy@aplacetobelong.ca to schedule an appointment.
